If so, consider nominating them to be a Congressional Coalition on Adoption Institute (CCAI) Angel in Adoption! The CCAI recognizes worthy groups, couples and individuals who are nominated by their congressional representatives because of their heart for adoption. Dear Adoption Community Member:

Each year, the Congressional Coalition on Adoption Institute hosts an Awards Ceremony, Reception, and Gala for your peers who are the truly unsung heroes for adoption and foster care issues. An Angel in Adoption™ can be an organization, couple, or individual which are selected by Members of
Congress to show their continued support of children domestically and internationally.

The Angels in Adoption™ Program, CCAI's signature public awareness program, provides an opportunity to all members of the U.S. Congress to honor the good work of their constituents who have enriched the lives of foster children and orphans. This program includes an annual event in Washington, D.C., the Angels in Adoption™ gala, which is geared toward highlighting ordinary people doing extraordinary things. These "unsung heroes" are selected by members of the U.S. Congress.

We need your help!

In order to maintain the quality of this program, we need your knowledge of outstanding people or organizations to be passed along to you Members of Congress, which includes both your local
Representative' s office and your two U.S. Senate offices. With out your nominations, this program would not be possible!

Your Congressional office will need the following information:

1. Name of the Angel in Adoption™ you are nominating

2. Phone number

3. Address

4. Email address

5. A paragraph or two explaining the nominee's work with adoption and/or foster care issues.
