Dear reader,

How are you? I hope life is treating you well.

I'm writing because I'm anxious to hear from you. I feel like all I do is talk, talk, talk and I don't know the darndest thing about what's going on in your life.

So drop me a line. Let me know what's up in your world. Tell me if there's anything in particular you want me to blather on about. Thanks.

Your friend,

Tana

I am doing really well. Thanks for asking. :-) I cleaned and rearranged the schoolroom, did two weeks in the older girls' school schedule books, cleaned my bathroom (including the shower and putting up a new shower curtain), and been a hands-on mom today. I am wiped out. The girls have New Beginnings tonight, too.

When I get a chance, I can't wait to catch up on your blog. :-)

Hey there, Tana. I spent the morning in a "team meeting" for our son in residential treatment, then had lunch at my house with some friends (mac 'n' cheese - mmm), gearing up to go to Capitol Hill tomorrow and do some lobbying, mailed a Valentine's package to my missionary son, one to my brother and s-i-l living in Africa, and one to our own Sandra. Fixed dinner, sent kids to YM/YW - you know the drill . . . . I'd like to see you blather on about the whole "meant-to-be-ala-Saturday's -warrior" thing - I like talking about that topic. ;) How 'bout paying for an adoption (or more than one) with the added counsel to get out of debt? Have fun!

Hey Tana, I know how ya feel. Sometimes I wonder if cyberspace is actually a big vacuum or black hole of some sort where my posts end up! :-)

We only had one big, ugly, huge meltdown today with our newest who has been home for two weeks, so hey, life is good!

Blathering on about LDS adoption...hmmm...how about some scripture references related to adoption or how to deal with racial comments from ward members. You can't tell 'em off because after all, they are supposed to be your "ward family" whom you see every week, but I've had some that really hurt and cut me to the core.

Or...how about "how do you know when you are done?"...and are you ever truly done if the desire is there to have children for eternity? :-)

Hi
I would like to hear about others who have adopted infants when they are still having bio babies too. Am I totally nuts to want to do this. We feel like we are to adopt an infant boy and girl, but we have a 6m old and I will probably be pg when we finalize the adoption. I've always wanted twins and I'll admit at first the thought of having 3 baby babies was kinda fun, but now I keep thinkinf 4 under the age of 18 months might just be more of a handful than I can handle.
