Adoption.com is having its annual adoption photo contest, and I would love to see a great showing of LDS kiddos included! The deadline for entries is May 31, 2007, with winners being announced on June 6th. With $2000 worth of prizes up for grabs, you’ve got nothing to lose!

Photos can be submitted here (click on “upload photos” in the upper right-hand corner) and winners will be decided by our members. Photos must be original and submitted by the owner (no professional photos, in other words). You can enter as many photos as you like, but they must be appropriate for family viewing. This year’s winners will be decided by YOU, so voting is just as important as entering. :) To vote, click on the thumbnail that interests you and on the next screen, fill in the appropriate rating “bubbles.” You can vote for as many as you like.

After you’ve entered Adoption.com’s photo contest, you may discover you have quite a knack for contest-entering. Here’s another you may want to consider:

Adoptive Families Magazine and Sears Portrait Studios have teamed up for the magazine’s second annual adoptive families photo contest. Entrants may submit either candid or formal photos, and entries must be received by September 10, 2007 at 11:59 pm EST.

There are three ways to enter:

1. Sears portrait studio will automatically enter your child’s Sears photos in the contest at your request, or you may bring in your own photos which they will scan and enter for you.

2. You may upload your own photos at the Adoptive Families website.

3. You may mail photos to: Adoptive Families Photo Contest, 39 W. 37th St., 15th Fl., New York, NY 10018

If you choose option one or three, you must print out and fill in the entry form, which is available here.

Prizes include Sears portrait packages and digital camera suites, and winners will appear in the pages (or even on the cover!) of Adoptive Families magazine.
